He and his brother Ira's trademark brotherly harmony gave them an unmistakable sound, and several hits in the mid to late 50s. After Ira's death in a car accident in 1965, Charlie began a solo career with two Top Ten hits (“I Don’t Love You Anymore” and “See the Big Man Cry”).
