Chinese crocodile lizard (Shinisaurus Crocodilurus) is a semi aquatic lizard from southeastern China and northeastern Vietnam named for the two rows of scales on its tail that resemble a crocodiles. It is an endangered species that lives near slow moving streams and feeds on insects, snails and tadpoles.
