Day 4 post op tonsillectomy. Pain in the morning and about 4am is the worst. I’ve been getting up every 2 hours to drink to keep lubricated. Food I ate ice cream & I made poached pear and apple ate that with custard. Finally went to the toilet. Had a bath and made me feel loads better! Once 10am came pain was about 3/10 for rest of day.
