1800’s Gargoyle Moulds That Look Straight Out Of D&D 😮🐉

A rare set of 19th century architectural pattern moulds, comprising carved wooden master patterns and associated cast examples, used in the production of decorative architectural ornaments. The patterns would originally have been used to produce repeated elements for cast iron or composition ornaments, such as panels, brackets, cornice enrichments, or fireplace and interior architectural details. Traces of red lead primer remain on the cast surfaces, consistent with period ironwork preparation.
