The FiloBot is a self 3-D printing robot created by the Italian Institute of Technology Genoa. It’s designed to mimic vines and plants, steering using phototropism and skototropism. One of its main functions is supposed to be for gently moving rubble as to not cause further collapse while still finding those trapped. It also, unfortunately, happens to look quite phallic.
